Why the hot honey bowl went viral

It topped Google's viral recipe list because it combines three flavours: sweet potato and honey, chilli heat and savoury beef. With cottage cheese it's high-protein and great for meal prep.

Prep it for 3 days

  • Roast potato and cook beef; store separately
  • Keep cottage cheese cold and separate
  • Make the hot honey and keep it in a small jar
  • Reheat only potato and beef; add the rest cold

Ingredient swaps

  • Ground chicken or turkey instead of beef
  • Greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese
  • Date syrup with chilli instead of honey
  • Regular potato if no sweet potato
